What happens if the boat I booked is unavailable, but the Captain offered me a different one?

If the boat owner proposes an alternative boat different from the one you initially booked, you have the option to either accept or decline the offer. Regardless of your decision, please contact us so that we can assist you.

If the alternative boat is listed on BoatBooker

If the alternative boat provided by the owner is listed on BoatBooker, we will proceed to cancel the original booking and create a new reservation for the suggested charter. If the owner you originally booked recommends another BoatBooker-listed owner, kindly contact us, and we will make the necessary adjustments to your booking.

If the alternative boat isn't listed on BoatBooker

Should your owner propose a boat not listed on BoatBooker, and you choose to accept, please be aware that BoatBooker cannot validate specific details about your trip. Consequently, we may be limited in our ability to assist if issues arise due to the changes.

We have a dedicated team of agents ready to assist you in finding alternative options whenever your original booking is canceled. Our goal is to locate the best possible alternative, and once we present you with an offer, you can decide whether to accept it.
