Can I cancel a reservation I made accidentally?

There are two ways to cancel a reservation you made by accident, depending on whether the owner has accepted your request.

If your request is still pending

If you cancel a reservation request before it is accepted by the owner, we will immediately process your cancellation request and release the deposit.

If your request has been confirmed

If the reservation you accidentally made has already been accepted by the captain or confirmed immediately through Instant Book, the cancellation will be processed according to that captain's cancellation policy.

If your cancellation request breaches the captain's cancellation policy, please contact the owner to explain the situation. BoatBooker will also contact the owner to try and arrange a refund.

In the event that you breach the captain's cancellation policy, the owner will decide how to proceed with the deposit.
