If you list your boat tours on both BoatBooker and FishingBooker, you can link your calendars so they update automatically. Any booking or full-day closure on one platform will instantly block the same dates on the other.
Benefits
Connecting your calendars limits cancellations and makes it easier to manage your availability when things get busy.
- Prevent double bookings – Your availability stays consistent everywhere.
- Save time – No more switching between platforms to update availability.
How it works
Here's what happens when you link your BoatBooker and FishingBooker calendars.
- Booking a single or multi-day trip on BoatBooker will block the same dates on FishingBooker.
- Fully closing a date or multiple dates on BoatBooker will close them on FishingBooker.
- Cancellations or declines that reopen or close dates will be reflected on both platforms.
- Any Google Calendar imports on either platform will sync across both.
Note that blocking AM/PM slots and individual trips, adding notes, and updates via the Multicalendar don’t sync between platforms – only bookings and fully blocked dates do.
How to link your calendars
Here's a video walkthrough of how to link your BoatBooker calendar to your FishingBooker calendar.
You can connect your calendars directly from your BoatBooker or FishingBooker account in just a few steps.
- Go to your Calendar on BoatBooker.
- Tap the Settings icon (skip this step if you’re on your computer).
- Select Link your listing calendars.
- Tap Create new group.
- Name your calendar group.
- Select the listings you want to connect (from both BoatBooker and FishingBooker).
- Tap Create.
Once your calendars are linked, changes will sync automatically – no need to repeat these steps later.
What does sync:
Bookings and fully blocked dates from linked FishingBooker and BoatBooker calendars sync and update your availability automatically.
What doesn’t sync:
Individual trips, manually blocked AM/PM slots, events from external calendars and the Multicalendar don’t sync between platforms.
Already connected via iCal link?
If you’ve previously connected your BBKR & FBKR calendars using an iCal link (the same method used for Google Calendar sync), we recommend switching to this new version. It’s a more reliable and faster way to keep your calendars in sync.
