What is verification and how can I get verified?

Being verified means that our Compliance Team has checked your documentation, and we know that you are a licensed and registered captain or guide. You must be verified in order for your listing to become visible to customers on BoatBooker.

To get verified, follow these steps:

    1. Click on your name in the top right corner.
    2. Click Verify Profile.
    3. Click Upload documents.
    4. Upload the required documents.
    5. Click Submit documents.

Please note, that it can take up to 10 working days for us to verify your documents.

We do not need to know your address, date of birth, or the amount paid for the document. When you scan your documents to submit them, you can either crop the image or retract that information.

Please note that we do need to see what type of document it is, your name, and the date of expiry.
